Why Starlink is so good may be because it links directly to the satellites in space rather than go through cables whether fibre optic or not it is still cables and with that comes some resistance to flow! But with Starlink it is direct to the satellites in space! Super free high way for your data transfer! Absolutely amazing quality!

I guess you were thinking I was going to say, "Never buy Starlink they are no-good! and have a bad product and service!" Sorry to disappoint any nay-sayers here! My experience has being nothing but very very and very good with Starlink!

These are the things I noticed when I started using Starlink and it answered my pressing question of "how much is starlink in nigeria!":

1. Very Very fast internet service anywhere on the planet! Have you ever had this issue of a bufferring internet? Where you are watching that very interesting movie and the internet is not playing ball with you?! Yes! That continuous circle indicating your internet trying very hard to keep up with your streaming but it just cannot do it! That issue! you will never see with starlink because I noticed from the very start that streaming HD or UltraHD movies were flawless!

   
   

   I have being around the world a bit, I have lived in Germany, in Luxembourg, being to Belgium, Holland, the UK, etc, and believe me when I say this, Starlink is faster than any service provider I have ever experienced! One thing that makes me love starlink is how very quick they are to make sure that all their customer experiences are nothing but very good! Using Starlink I was easily clocking 300mbps download speeds! I have never seen that with all the service providers anywhere in the world for the price point that Starlink was offering their internet service. I live currently in Nigeria and the conventional internet service providers do not even come close to challenging this download speed that Starlink offers! That is why I am not even comparing the sStarlink speeds to the local Nigerian internet providers but I am directly comparing starlink to providers like BT, Vodafone, virgin media, O2, three network, etc, you know I have being around the world a bit so I know! And to be getting this massive download quality and speed in Nigeria was mind blowing to me! One also unique thing I have noticed with Starlink is that they never use professional advertisement to talk about their products , but they rely solely on the word of mouth from their existing customers to let people know just how awesome their product and service is!

   
   

2. The second thing I love about Starlink is how easy it was to install! I will include the drawings of the base and support structure I designed for my installation needs so you guys can download it and use it for free! It depends on your installation needs though! If you will be needing a free standing installation then this design would be useful to you, or you can get inspiration for your own design from it, it is entirely up to you how you want to use it but it is free for you to download here! In order to save cost, I did not buy any other accessory from the Starlink store other than the basic accessories that came with the standard box! Please see my design below! 3. I also noticed and loved the fact that the Starlink device downloads and installs software updates often, and it is usually scheduled automatically for periods when you are asleep and the usage loads are reduced! And this is usually at nights! But these updates keep coming in and it keeps your device running very smoothly! I love a smooth internet service!

   
   

   

   
   

4. When Starlink says unlimited! They actually mean it! My household consumes data in their Terabytes, and my Starlink is up to the task and handles it like a champ! 5. Zero service disruptions from systems maintenance etc! We have all being there! That message you get from your conventional internet service providers telling you that your internet won't be available from certain time because they are changing one cable somewhere or something else! It is annoying especially when you have something very important to get done! Well! That will never happen with Starlink! I have never seen or experienced that! So that is another thing I love about Starlink!

   
   

6. Here comes the big one! "How much is starlink in nigeria?". Starlink is cheap, cheap, and cheap for the premium quality you are getting! One cool thing I think people can do is come together as neigbours and contribute to buy a Starlink and then just split the cost! And then buy a WiFi extender to extend the signals to all contributing houses! Your Starlink can support up to 128 devices! Think about it! You don't have to do it alone! Especially in Nigeria! When I say Starlink is cheap, this is what I mean, let me put it into perspective! The monthly fee for unlimited residential data package from Starlink is 57,000 Nigerian Naira (about 28 British pounds)! Now let's compare, MTN which is one of the biggest telecommunications service providers in Nigeria charges 4,500 Naira for 10GB per month! Now from my last household usage (Please see image above), we consumed 1.07 Terabytes of data, which is 1070GB, so doing a little math here, if I were to go with MTN, this would have costed me 481,500 Naira! Ofcourse no one is going to pay this for data! As a matter of fact Starlink has alot of competitors in Nigeria offering lower prices than 57,000 naira for unlimited internet, I know of airtel offering 30,000 Naira for unlimited internet, but the problem with airtel is that the quality of their unlimited broadband is appalling! To me it is just a waste of money! It has problems of signal not reaching the next room from where the modem is, service outages, you have to move the broadband modem to where you have the heaviest usage in the house, buffering internet as a result, naturally happens with this kind of weak signals, so naturally, there are problems with streaming any video not to talk of HD or UltraHD, etc. In my opinion, NOT worth it! I love my Starlink because these problems I have NEVER seen!

   
   

7. Check this out! You can connect up to 128 devices to a Starlink router! How cool is that! So all your devices, your family's devices, all your friends' devices, all your cctv cameras, etc., I just love this!

Other questions you might have are, "is starlink good for gaming - Yes", "is the starlink router good - Yes", "how good is starlink wifi - Very very very good!", "Is Starlink the fastest network in nigeria! - Absolutely!", "If you are looking for the fastest broadband in nigeria - to the best of my knowledge and from my experience starlink it is!". To be honest you just have to try it to see! And the best part is you get your first month free as my friend ofcourse! So if you do not like it, just cancel and move on! But I can assure you that that will NEVER be the case! I just love my Starlink!

What you get when you first order your Starlink.

On ordering your Starlink you would be required to setup a password with the email address you used to place the order. I was required to pre-order my Starlink back then, I think it was because Starlink was pretty selective of who gets their services, I do not know if they still do that nowadays! :)

After your order is confirmed your parcel will be sent to you where ever you live, I got mine through DHL in Benin city, Edo state, Nigeria.

All you now have to do is unpack it (See image below) and install it (See section on installation below), and hopefully at this point you would have constructed the supporting structure where your outdoor kit/unit will seat (See my design above)! my own construction, in order to save cost, can be seen in the Engineering drawing above or you can download it for free here!.

With everything mounted according to the Engineering drawings above and connected which is very simple because it has a "poke-yoke" feature so it is a very simple connection, you cannot miss it, you will just see and know where everything goes even without reading the operating manual. All that is needed now is the setup, which is super simple and straight forward, and it involves several steps, these are;

2. The next step is the sign in page on the app, just enter your log in details and you are good to go.

   
   

   

   
   

3. Next you come to a page where you select your kit

   
   

   

4. Once you are in, you see the image below, and in just 1 to 2 steps your Starlink will be ready to start serving you.

   
   

   

5. Click setup and the rest is as simple as A, B, C!, you will come to the page below and by this time connect your equipment to power and switch it on. After clicking setup in above image, this will bring you to the image below and if your equipment is not aligned it will tell you this, so with your phone in hand just rotate your mounted Starlink post until alignment is achieved (Please note that you should not make the pole base permanent until you have aligned you equipment!
